Manager, Accounting & Tax – Boutique Wealth Management Family Office
We are seeking a Manager level candidate that would be excited by a broad range of responsibilities & smaller boutique office feel.

- Broad range of interesting responsibilities – to include: investment accounting, corporate accounting, tax compliance (partnership / personal returns), Finance (Budgeting), treasury and some light payroll / benefits projects.
- The company has a diversified investment portfolio including Real Estate, Private Equity / Venture Capital, public securities, bonds and more.
- Other projects include: responsibility for partnership accounting & tax compliance of various legal entities & trusts; oversight of family member personal finances, including annual planning & financial reporting; preparation of monthly & annual financial statements, preparation of annual budgets for specific entities, treasury / accounts payable & bank reconciliations; assisting with various interesting corporate support projects, including assistance with HR / Payroll & Benefits as needed.
- Tax projects include collaborating with outside CPA firm to prepare tax workpapers & assure compliance with local, state & federal tax regulations; coordinating and assisting with preparation of K-1 Investment flow through tax schedules and issuance of 1099s.
- Investment accounting project include oversight of the partnership capital calls & distribution, maintaining internal basis schedules for partnerships & LLCs, asset & liability schedules
- There is great opportunity for mentorship with this opportunity – the CFO has a very impressive background and loves to teach.
Qualifications:
- 7 + years of applicable experience (+ desire to learn new areas)
- CPA + Public Accounting experience (with a focus on High Net Worth Individuals / Partnerships) – very helpful, but not required.
- Family Office experience – plus
- Positive attitude with “no task can be too low or too high” type of approach. This is essential for a boutique investment firm where everyone works as a team and pitches in to help outside of their specific verticals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular) + QuickBooks
