‘I had found my purpose’: Cardinal Cushing CEO reflects, forges ahead

After working more than two decades at the Cardinal Cushing Centers Inc., Michelle Markowitz was given the chance last January to run the institution she loves, serving as interim head of the 650-employee nonprofit that provides education, job services and other programs for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
