Walsh calls for 42% hike in developer fees to fund housing, job training

Developers of large commercial real estate projects in Boston now pay $10.81 per square foot to the city to fund affordable housing and workforce development. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh wants to boost that to $15.39 per square foot.
