Holy Cross names Boston College dean as next president

The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester has named its next leader. Vincent Rougeau, currently the dean of the Boston College Law School, will serve as Holy Cross’s 33rd president, and the first lay and first Black president in the school’s history. He will assume the role on July 1. Rougeau succeeds Rev. Philip L. Boroughs, S.J. who said in September that he would exit his post at the end of June after nearly a decade.
