Local ride-hailing drivers group criticizes Uber’s $250M stimulus

Uber announced a $250 million driver "stimulus" this week to incentivize drivers to get back on the road, just as ride-haling companies are facing an increasing push from lawmakers and many drivers to provide benefits on an ongoing basis. It also comes after drivers have been in short supply in Boston and other major cities amid the the health risks created by Covid.
