Stephanie Browne has spent the last five years as the vice president of talent acquisition and the chief diversity and inclusion officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, capping a 26-year career at the health insurer. At 63, she says she’s seen her fair share of uprisings — but last summer’s protests in the wake of George Floyd’s death are unlike any movement since the 1960s.
