MIT-born photonics startup Lightmatter to open Bay Area office

Nick Harris, CEO of Lightmatter, said on Wednesday that the MIT spinoff its slated to open a new office in California in September, which will allow the four-year-old startup to tap into Silicon Valley tech talent. Although the lease is not signed yet, Lightmatter is eyeing a new space either in Palo Alto or Mountain View, Calif.
