Inman Square has long been a sanctuary for feminist businesses

The neighborhood on the Cambridge-Somerville border became a hotbed of women-owned businesses during the 1970s. While the businesses from that era are now closed, in their place is a new generation of women entrepreneurs in Inman, carrying on the legacy of creating spaces for people to meet and share ideas, and promoting feminist ideas.
