AIM survey: Mass. employer confidence makes big jump in March

With Covid-19 vaccinations reaching more people every day, Massachusetts employers are feeling a lot more confident about business conditions than they were just a few months ago, according to a new Associated Industries of Massachusetts survey. AIM’s Business Confidence Index reached 60.9 points in March, up from 56.4 a month earlier and 49.3 in December. The index measures employer confidence levels on a 100-point scale, with anything above 50 considered positive.
