Black mothers in Boston have 3X the infant mortality rate of white mothers, study finds

The infant mortality rate for Black infants in Boston in 2021 was 9.7 deaths per 1,000 live births, according to a study by the Boston Public Health Commission. For white residents, it was 3.2 deaths.
