Burlington tech company tapped for Mass. emergency alert system

The local software company that helped coordinate the volunteers of the Boston Marathon last year will also be the provider of the statewide service for emergency alerting communication, which could play a critical role in the following weeks in spreading time-sensitive information about the COVID-19 pandemic.
