The landlord, Fortis Property Group, claimed it had reached a settlement with K-and-L Gates in a dispute over a sublease. The law firm contended the settlement was never finalized. Both sides suggested the other was engaged in gamesmanship in an office market thrown into disarray by Covid-19.
