Gov. Baker expects a fix to massive unemployment tax hike ‘soon’

In recent weeks, many employers have received first-quarter UI tax bills that are significantly higher than what they paid last year, even though Baker signed legislation earlier this month that was meant to keep any increases in check during the pandemic.
