Home security company SimpliSafe names former iRobot COO as CEO

Boston-based home security company SimpliSafe Inc. is replacing its longtime CEO with the former second in command of another local consumer electronics company, iRobot Corp. SimpliSafe and iRobot’s products are both in the smart home market, first-time CEO Christian Cerda noticed: “Roomba cleans, and SimpliSafe protects.”
