In its first acquisition, SoftBank-backed Cambridge Mobile Telematics buys Boston rival

Cambridge Mobile Telematics, or CMT, which in 2018 was the recipient of the largest fundraise of the year for a Massachusetts tech startup, has made its first acquisition in 11 years of existence. It didn’t have to go far from its new Cambridge office to find a target.
