Consulting Director, Accounting – Global Consulting Firm

We are seeking a self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive who is interested in expanding their network & knowledge of accounting topics by working with a number of Fortune 500 clients and startups in a range of industries. • Highly visible position – Build out your professional network by working closely with leadership at Startups, Pre-IPOs, and Fortune 500 companies
• Responsibilities include integrating with client's senior management to solve complex accounting issues & preparing/proposing bespoke solutions; oversee Consultants' operational due diligence (on IPOs, stock offers, and acquisitions) and financial & regulatory deliverables as per SEC (S-1, S-4, 10Ks, 10Qs, and others); conducting research & documentation projects in regards to technical accounting (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842); acting as a leader and mentor to Consultants & striving to improve their experience; building & leveraging strong client relations to seek new business development opportunities; and other unique accounting projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Accounting or Finance (required)
• Certified Professional Accountant (preferred)
• 12+ years experience – may come from public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of the two (Big 4 strongly preferred)
