Project Manager, Financial Operations (Healthcare Company)
We are seeking a detail-oriented & determined professional with desire to lead a variety of projects within a large healthcare company’s Financial Operations function.
Company / Team / Position Highlights include:

- Position is entirely project based, thus if someone has experience within a corporate accounting or finance / treasury team, but would rather transform their daily routine from typical deliverables such as financial reporting, month end close, treasury reconciliations, etc.; and into running projects 100% of the time this could be the perfect opportunity to do so.
- There are about 150-200 employees under the CFO’s umbrella, but this Project Management team also collaborates quite a bit with Regulatory, Internal Audit, Technology, Systems, Operations and other internal healthcare specific functions.
- The position will oversee projects that have high visibility to external clients, vendor relationships and multiple internal business units.
- Responsibilities will include: taking part in larger cross-functional and/or corporate assessments and projects that affect ongoing financial operations, including regulatory programs; planning & implementing changes into existing framework; driving business requirements and test case development; providing project status updates to financial operations management team; presenting results at various company leadership meetings.
- The team has a great track-record of internal promotions and lateral movement between functions.
- Good flexibility – work from home arrangements (1-2 days per week post pandemic), and overall autonomy, yet good support from leadership as needed. Training & ramping up program in place.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of applicable experience (may come from project management, accounting, finance, financial operations, financial systems implementation, consulting, advisory / assurance, etc.)
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required as long as there is strong interest in learning the industry.
- Desire to “own” projects from start to finish.
- Excellent organization and communication skills are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree is required, graduate degree / additional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly, advanced Excel – required. Access – helpful (not required)
