We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Portfolio Operations to support a growing Global Investment Manager's newly created team within their Investment Research Operations group. This role offers a strong compensation package, a hybrid schedule, and will provide operational support for portfolio management activities across a number of investment vehicles. Team Highlights & Broad Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management Support (70% of time): Maintain the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) with accuracy and timeliness, reconcile investment data, manage trades and cash flow projections, coordinate vehicle structure changes and new product launches, oversee liquidity and capacity management, and ensure standardized reporting and compliance with client funding requirements
- Strategic Projects (30% of time): Support the successful launch of new portfolio management software by defining and testing system requirements, streamline processes through efficiency improvements, create custom analytical solutions, ensure service provider compliance, and maintain documentation as the subject matter expert on portfolio management operations
- Cross-Collaboration: Work closely with the Investment Research, Data Analytics & Performance, and Pooled Vehicle teams
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field required
- 3+ years of experience in investment operations and understanding of trading and reconciliation functions required
- MBA or progress toward a CFA or CIPM is a plus
- Python, PowerBI, SQL and Excel macros is a plus
- Self-starter with a demonstrated interest in investments and continued learning
