Lawsuit against Morrison & Foerster dropped after firm changed diversity program

In a filing on Friday, the American Alliance for Equal Rights said it dismissed its lawsuit against a big law firm with a Boston office, alleging that its diversity fellowship illegally excluded applicants based on race. However, the lawsuit was only dismissed after the law firm changed the fellowship criteria.
