Marriage of machine learning, biology to be focus of new Broad Institute center

Fueled by a $150 million gift from former Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt and his wife and partner in philanthropy, Wendy Schmidt, the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT is launching a new center that aims to bring together biological research and machine learning.
