Mass. joins five-state effort to plan 21st-century power grid

Massachusetts has joined every other coastal New England state in a new effort to plan investment for a 21st-century electricity transmission system. A new modular paradigm is needed to connect offshore wind to the power grid, New England Energy Visions said.
