Mass. panel questions tax breaks for film producers, mutual fund firms

Massachusetts lawmakers set up the tax review commission under a 2018 law, to help them weigh whether the benefits of the incentive programs outweigh the costs. The panel released its first report on Thursday, calling for some business tax breaks to be reconsidered.
