Nine more Mass. public universities mandate booster shots

The schools already required vaccinations for the start of the fall semester. But with the more-contiguous omicron variant contributing to fast-rising case numbers in Massachusetts and beyond, the Massachusetts State University Council of Presidents said it will take additional precautions for the spring.
