Not just PPP: SBA’s disaster loans slow to roll out in Mass.

To date, barely more than 500 Massachusetts businesses have been approved for loans through a U.S. Small Business Administration pandemic relief program that’s served as a lesser-known cousin of the Paycheck Protection Program, with the loans totaling nearly $104 million. While the PPP has received more attention, the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program has also inspired frustration among local business owners grappling with the pandemic.
