One year after cutting China ties, local genetics firm sells its business

Just over a year ago, WuXi NextCODE underwent a major overhaul, cutting ties with its Chinese parent company, moving its headquarters to Boston and rebranding as Genuity Science. Now, Genuity is selling to a New York biotech company called HiberCell in an all-stock transaction worth $100 million.
