Report: ‘Care workers’ are a growing, but neglected, sector in Massachusetts

Over the next two decades, the demand for "care workers" is expected to outpace overall job growth in Greater Boston, as the number of seniors jumps by 50% and creates a greater demand in the "care economy." But a new report raises serious concerns about the sustainability of the industry for workers, who tend to be women, people of color or immigrants.
