Shadows loom over BPDA’s advancement of labs, housing on Simmons land

Skanska is proposing up to 1.7 million square feet of commercial and residential development on the university’s property. The BPDA’s board advanced the plans Thursday in the face of concerns over the shadows the project could cast on the Emerald Necklace.
