Small-business partnership offers funds to extend runway for neighborhood businesses

Born out of a partnership that includes banking giant JPMorgan Chase, Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corp. and the Upham’s Corner Main Street organization since 2020, the initiative subsidizes commercial rents for neighborhood businesses for a limited period. To date, it has provided $319,000 in subsidies to 15 businesses.
