State regulators split on effects of United’s acquisition of Atrius Health

The state’s Health Policy Commission revealed a few new details this week about a deal in which nonprofit physicians group Atrius Health would be acquired by a for-profit subsidiary of UnitedHealthcare, but ultimately put off a decision on next steps, leaving it to the executive director’s discretion.
