UMass Medical School to furlough 100 employees up to 6 months

After paying employees’ full salaries over the first seven weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic, UMass Medical School in Worcester announced Tuesday that it will furlough about 100 employees for up to six months to offset financial losses sparked by the crisis.
