Viewpoint: Too few women get to invent, and that’s a problem for women’s health

A newly published study shows that patented biomedical inventions in the U.S. created by women are 35% more likely to benefit women’s health than biomedical inventions created by men, who tend to overlook or downplay the medical needs of women.
