Why some Boston law and CPA firms took big PPP loans, but others didn’t

Many of the largest Massachusetts law and accounting firms that were eligible for the PPP applied for — and received — loans, saying revenue projections in early April looked bleak enough that they felt they needed to use the program to save jobs. But at least a few did not, with one managing partner saying he was concerned about certifying the firm really needed the money.
