Opinion: Voc-tech equity can open access, partner without tears

As the state Legislature considers open access to voc-tech education opportunities, let’s reimagine a voc-tech system that delivers on its promise of broad access to high-demand tech-career pathways and work with comprehensive high schools to partner in mutually advantaged ways. Where qualified students sit on waiting lists, it makes sense to enable public high schools to redefine relationships with their respective voc-tech schools.
