Mass.-based 6K Energy to invest $200M-plus in Tennessee

Construction on the 6K Energy plant in Jackson, Tennessee, is scheduled to begin in July. Initial production could start in October 2024. The full-scale manufacturing of battery materials — 13,000 metric tons per year — is expected in 2025.
