One of the state’s largest public companies by revenue, the semiconductor maker (Nasdaq: ADI) said it plans to build a new research & development and manufacturing facility in Ireland — a decision that comes as both the U.S. and Massachusetts are striving to boost semiconductor manufacturing locally.
