UMass cuts systemwide office space by half with move to Westborough

The University of Massachusetts has moved the back-office space used by the systemwide president’s office to Westborough from Shrewsbury, putting the operation between Boston and Worcester while cutting its square footage by more than half. The lease ranks among the larger office deals in Boston’s suburbs so far this year.
