DPH rejects Leominster Hospital plan to close maternity unit after push from community advocates

The UMass Memorial Health hospital based in Leominster was slated to close on Sept. 23, but after DPH rejected their plans, the hospital has to answer more questions about how it will maintain birthing services for the community.
