Former SVB CEO plans to apologize to lawmakers while defending his and the failed bank’s actions

In written testimony released Monday by the Senate Banking Committee, Greg Becker, who headed Silicon Valley Bank as the CEO of parent company SVB Financial, called the institution’s failure "personally and professionally devastating."
