Merger of RI’s public TV, radio stations will create a 30-person newsroom

Last week, Rhode Island PBS and The Public’s Radio (formerly Rhode Island Public Radio) announced plans to merge into one entity that will serve Rhode Island as well as Southeastern Massachusetts.
