Real estate groups aim to kill transfer fees to fund affordable housing

The Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board sent a letter this week to legislators arguing against bills that would let municipalities impose the fee on expensive transactions to fund affordable housing.
