State tax data suggests Mass. restaurant revenue has beat pre-pandemic levels
From 2019 to 2025, restaurant revenue in Massachusetts is up exactly one-third among the 216 cities and towns that take part in the state’s local-option meals tax. Inflation during that time was 26%.
