Suffolk office-to-dorm project OK’d. More like it may be coming.
Kairos Shen, Boston’s planning chief, said institutions other than colleges are interested in office-to-residential conversions to house their employees. The city is “actively working” to help create a consortium of the organizations to partner with real estate developers on the projects, he said.
