Senior Analyst – Anaplan & Financial Systems

Boston, MA (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

A premier global investment management firm is seeking a Senior Analyst with deep Anaplan expertise to join a highly visible technology team supporting firmwide Finance & FP&A initiatives. This is an outstanding opportunity to own the evolution of the firm’s Anaplan environment—designing, enhancing, and scaling mission-critical models used across the organization.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $135k–$160k (DOE)
• Annual Bonus: ~15%
• Profit Sharing: 14.3% of total W2 (base + bonus)

The Opportunity

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will serve as a key liaison between Technology, Finance, and FP&A, driving forward the strategic roadmap for the firm’s Anaplan platform. You will partner with stakeholders across the business, translate requirements into scalable model architecture, and play a central role in ongoing platform governance, enhancements, and optimization efforts.

This is a high-impact role with significant visibility and the ability to build your internal brand within a sophisticated global investment organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for existing Anaplan models while ensuring data accuracy and smooth platform operations
• Lead the design & implementation of new Anaplan use cases across Finance / FP&A and adjacent business functions
• Shape and maintain the Anaplan product roadmap in partnership with technology and business leadership
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, functional requirements, and documentation
• Train end-users and internal teams; drive broader enablement of Anaplan capabilities across the firm
• Partner with vendor resources and stay current on new platform features and best practices
• Identify opportunities to expand the firm’s connected planning ecosystem and integrate Anaplan with other enterprise systems

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building, enhancing, and supporting Anaplan models, including full lifecycle design through deployment
• Anaplan Certified Model Builder – Required
• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect – Required
• Strong understanding of connected planning concepts and enterprise-level architecture
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in information systems, computer science, finance, analytics, or related field
• Experience working in corporate FP&A, finance, consulting, or a similar environment supporting planning systems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience with data integration, analytics, or visualization tools is a plus
• Exposure to the investment management or broader alternative asset industry is strongly preferred
• Prior Anaplan consulting experience is a plus
