Walsh administration faces legal action over contracting diversity

Three groups — the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts, the Greater Boston Latino Network and Amplify Latinx — filed an administrative complaint with federal agencies on Wednesday. They allege that a new study shows the city has discriminated against Black- and Latinx-owned businesses in granting public contracts.
