Enrollment in MassHealth swelled 10.4% in 2020 as job-based insurance fell

Rising MassHealth membership, which coincides with declines in commercial insurance coverage, is a concerning trend for hospitals, who receive drastically less reimbursement from MassHealth payers than from commercial ones for the same services.
