Houghton Mifflin sells consumer book publishing unit to News Corp. for $349M

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Co., a Boston-based publisher for nearly two centuries, has sold its consumer book publishing unit to News Corp., parent of HarperCollins Publishers.
