Animal rights activists push for doggie day care regulation

"Ollie’s Law" would have charge the state’s director of animal health with creating rules around staff-to-dog ratios, care requirements, penalties for violations of regulations and more. Lawmakers effectively killed its chances of advancing this session, but other bills that would regulate doggie day cares are still in the works.
