Boston, MA | Hybrid
The Opportunity
As Vice President, Structured Investments Oversight, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring that the firm’s complex structured deals — from securitizations to reinsurance vehicles — are performing as expected, optimized for capital, and accurately reflected in ratings.
What You’ll Do
- Own the ratings process: Lead surveillance and reporting for structured transactions, including deal models, stress scenarios, and performance updates.
- Be the connector: Act as the main point of contact between internal teams, external rating agencies, and third-party administrators.
- Keep deals on track: Monitor triggers, reconcile cashflows, and anticipate market/rating shifts before they impact the portfolio.
- Optimize structures: Work with stakeholders to explore amendments that protect returns and improve capital efficiency.
- Guide others: Manage and mentor at least one direct team member, setting a high standard for analysis and communication.
- Influence strategy: Provide insights and reporting that shape investment decisions across risk, finance, valuations, and portfolio management.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in structured finance, insurance investments, or asset management.
- Strong modeling skills (Excel; Intex experience highly valued).
- Comfort working directly with senior stakeholders and external rating agencies.
- A mix of analytical horsepower and the ability to communicate findings in a clear, compelling way.
- Someone proactive, entrepreneurial, and excited to formalize best-in-class processes as the firm grows.
This is a high-visibility Associate or VP seat for a structured finance professional who wants to move beyond pure surveillance and into a role with influence, leadership, and direct exposure to senior decision-makers.
