State imposes more fines against hotel for hosting large events

State officials have slapped additional fines on the Massachusetts hotel accused of hosting two events last weekend that violated Covid-19 safety standards, including mask requirements and the 100-person limit for outdoor events. The wedding venue is being cited for operating beyond the maximum allowed capacity, allowing dancing, and permitting "very few people" to wear masks at the two events.
