Boston hedge fund built up a 25% stake in Yellow in past three weeks

A Boston-based hedge fund called MFN Partners LP placed a major bet on Yellow Corp.’s stock and now owns a 25% stake in the company, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Yellow is expected to file for bankruptcy soon.
